Description: Ever since I have moved to Shimla, I have been looking to bring unique stories and show unexplored places in this town to you all. To be honest, I have been able to find quite a few unique places here. This video is one of my first few attempts in bringing unique Shimla to you all. I have visited Sanjauli - a not so explored part of Shimla. I myself could not believe my eyes when I saw Sanjauli for the first time. The Jonang Monastery in Sanjauli adds even more to the charm of this small town. Check out the Realme 8s 5G Phone Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 here: bit.ly/3mKTQUU The Jonang Taken Phutsok Choeling Monastery is one of its kind in India, also one of the two monasteries in the world belonging to Jonang Sect of Buddhism. This monastery was founded by Lama Jimpa in 1963 and was gifted to the His Holiness Dalai Lama on 6th July 1990. His Holiness took care of the monastery for 7 years and in 1997, in order to protect the method of Kalachakra or the followers of the 6 Unions, the inherent Tantra as well as the only institution that protects it in India as well as Tibet, His Holiness designated H.H. Khalka Jetsun dhampa, head of this Jonang institution. In all of India and also Tibet, there are just 2 of these, one in Shimla and another one in Tibet.
